University of Queensland visit, Cecil Plains

In August the Cecil Plains Branch had the pleasure of hosting 14 students from the University of Queensland Agribusiness Association to provide them with an in-depth look at the supply chain.

The day kicked off with a visit to @NufarmAustralia Toowoomba, where the students gained insights into the operations of Nuseed, Croplands, and Nufarm. Following that, we headed to our Cecil Plains Branch for an introduction to McGregor Gourlay and shared the diverse career journeys of our team members.

After enjoying a BBQ lunch, we wrapped up the day with a visit to the Queensland Cotton Gin, where we spent time closing the loop with the end product of cotton prior to export.

It was an incredible opportunity to connect with future leaders in agribusiness and showcase the dynamic and diverse nature of our industry.
